With the help of Lincoln Community Foundation's Angle Grant, this page was created to provide educational resources for directors and their board members. Many of the e-newsletters and trainings are free, and the rest are offered at reduced costs for HSF members.
We encourage you to utilize any or all of these resources and trainings. Together we can raise the bar on the understanding of responsibility, role, and ethics for board members in Lincoln.

Board Training Opportunities:
HSF offers a variety of free and reduced cost trainings for it's members.
- Visionary Board Leadership
As an HSF member, your organization is eligible for a FREE 1.5 hour presentation from one of our training experts. This is an excellent training for a new board, but can also serve as a great 'refresher' for other boards. This year's Board Talks will run quarterly at Lincoln Community Foundation's large conference room. This inexpensive training is intended for board presidents, but directors or key staff are welcome.
