2010 Midlands Nonprofit Summit

The Human Services Federation and the Nonprofit Association of the Midlands are proud to host the 2010 Midlands Nonprofit Summit, Wednesday, October 20 at the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa (click to register).
 
The theme for this year's Summit is 'Passion, Purpose, Persuasion' and the keynote speakers and breakout sessions will address each of these critical characteristics for our sector (click to view the agenda).
 
This year's Summit is expected to be bigger and better than ever. 
 
Additionally, this year we will be presenting the Catalyst Award. Like the nonprofit sector itself, the Catalyst Award is designed to recognize a variety of the leadership skills needed to make a difference in our communities. The Catalyst Award is awarded annually based on the theme of the conference and the winner will be recognized at the Summit (click to download nomination form).
 
Also, there is still time to become a vendor or show support through a sponsorship.
 
Watch for more information on the Summit in September's mail. We hope to see you there, and remember to register early! 
 
When registering for the Summit as a Human Services Federation member, please follow these steps to ensure your individual agency is recognized and to receive the Member Rate: 

1. Choose: Member Rate;
2. Enter: first name, last name, and e-mail address;
3. In the "Special Instructions" text box, type your organization name (This is also where you would request a vegetarian meal);
4. Click "Proceed to Payment" ;
5. Choose "Human Service Federation" as Organization ;
6. Add an email address where you want notices to be sent.
